avedos, a European software vendor, is gearing up for further international expansion following its recent office openings in Germany and the Netherlands. The company based in Vienna has now extended and restructured its senior management team to be more responsive to the demands of an international company.

“Hannes Wambach will support me in a dual leadership role as Co-CEO,” announced Samuel Brandstaetter, Co-founder of avedos. “We have also extended our senior management team with Rolf Hoellger as CFO and Claudia Howe as Head of Consulting and Implementation.”

 

“We are operating in a fast-growing, high potential market as more and more companies are realizing the importance of integrating the domains for Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC),” explained Hannes Wambach, Co-CEO at avedos. “We have strengthened our senior management team with two industry veterans that have the international experience to drive our further expansion in Europe.”

 

“We are excited to welcome Rolf Hoellger and Claudia Howe on board,” added Christian Mache, Co-founder of avedos. “Since Rolf Hoellger will replace me as CFO, I can step back from day-to-day business operations. My new role will focus on strategic tasks as the chairman of a soon-to-be-established advisory board for the avedos Group.”

 

As CFO, Rolf Hoellger will oversee the areas of finance and management accounting. Hoellger studied business and engineering in Karlsruhe until 1987, when he founded an IT company specializing in management information systems. During the 1990’s, he established and later sold several companies. As one of the founders of pmOne AG, he served on the executive board, where he was responsible for finance, management accounting, human resources and IT from 2007 until 2015. Hoellger briefly worked as a freelance consultant before joining avedos. “There are so many opportunities to actively shape an up-and-coming company in a phase of expansion,” Hoellger replied. “With leading analysts anticipating strong growth for the GRC market in the coming years, this is an excellent time to drive internationalization at avedos.”

 

Claudia Howe joined the senior management team at the start of 2017 as Head of Consulting and Implementation where she is responsible for the success of all customer projects. The experienced project manager served for over a decade at Deloitte and IBM in consulting and audit projects focusing on analyzing, designing and implementing risk management, compliance and internal control systems. “I am impressed by the entrepreneurial achievements, values and leadership principles at avedos and look forward to bringing my skills and professional experience to the team,” Howes added.
